The goal is to maintain the fundamental rules of Snakes and Ladders while infusing strategic depth and entertainment to heighten user engagement. I initiated a survey among colleagues, spanning diverse age groups, to capture insights into their gaming habits and expectations. Through this survey, I aimed to decipher what elements of the traditional Snakes and Ladders game resonate most with users and where potential enhancements could lie.
Survey Findings:
Frequency of Play: Majority of respondents expressed playing traditional Snakes and Ladders occasionally during family gatherings or leisure time.
Engagement Factors: Nostalgia, simplicity, and the element of luck emerged as the primary draws of the game.
Desired Improvements: Participants expressed interest in thematic variations, strategic elements, and interactive features to elevate their gaming experience.
